surprise party at the shang and a very touching video...i cried :)

...for all i know i'll be spending the whole 4 nights at the shangri-la without even thinking anything about work even for a second...i guess i was wrong...little did i know that AOL's big honcho's are all their and they have set-up an event to give us a little celebration of what we have achieved...

...few hours after i checked in, i got an invitation to attend to a luau party hosted by AOL...damn! if only i could have known that i'll be attending to one i could have prepared for a fabulous hawaiian/luau outfit...but oh well..too late for that (good thing i brought my fishermans capri and some white polo with flowers on it - instant hawaii )...original plan for the party would be at the beach and everything was all setup but was moved an hour before it starts because of the rain...spoiler eh?

...in the event, i got to know a lot of people - people that i have to get close to - i mean really close hehehhe...nah i'm into that "kiss-ass" thing but its better to have a level of comfort with your bosses...who knows you might need it someday...

...nyway, at the luau, most of my friends from the office who attended were shocked by the new hair color i'm sporting...well it's not really a total shock since they already seen it before but they never thought i'll be doing it again...i was so surprised that they have prepared a video for me...with some messages from my bosses and some friends from work...it was really nice seeing them making an effort for even a small message...i was crying like crazy hahhaa (in my unconscious mind that is)...as the old adage goes:

I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS I SWEAR!!! HAHAHA

....few hours from now ill be out of this boring office and be spending a really good time at Shangri-la for sure...can't wait..

...spent most of my off at the salon coz my mind just went crazy and decided to be blonde AGAIN (blaming it to boredom...as usual)...but this time i swear...I SWEAR!!!! this is for the last time...for the last 5 grueling hours in the salon my hair was tortured (bleached twice, then platinum color therafter)...it's like having a thousand needles pinched in your scalp for the last 5 hours...so painful like it's as good as getting a tattoo...oh well, BEAUTY IS PAIN hahhahaa

...original plan is i'll have this color for only 5 days...for the whole time that i'll be in Shangrila but i guess i'm gonna go bald if i have it dyed again without letting it pass for a week...so yeah...i'm keeping the color till my birthday...which is already next week by the way...

oh well...gotta hit the beach...pure shores baby...

..a day more and i'm off to Shangrila that is why i'm working mah ass off double time...i need some ADD meds to be hyper hehehe...been spending back to back coaching sessions with my agents for the last 3 days...i've made Strepsils and Dequadin my bestfriends for the week...nyways, this is my perfect excuse to relax for a while...to bitch and moan 'bout my work...but i still love it...

...bit kinda depressed coz i can't find my favorite green Billabong boardshorts...i don't know if i left it the last time i went to Bohol or it was lost when i asked someone to do my laundry...depressing thought...just when i needed it the most...

...and oww, i found my new fave scent, I'm kissing Perry Ellis's 360 degrees goodbye at the top of my list and say hello to Versace's Eau Fraiche (my nose bleeds everytime i try to pronounce its name hehehe ...) its an updated version of Versace Man previously released, and its more subtle/ lighter...it smells like D & G's Light Blue but only with more masculinity in it...its the perfect cologne for work for me right now....i sooo luvvv it :)





...nyways gotta get back to work...and kill myself more with it...delaying gratification at its finest :)

when was the last time you did something for the first time?...
well i got lots today...

...all started today waking up sooo late in the afternoon, already around 5pm to be exact...my phone's flooded with messages from some friends and 3/4 of it are all from work...it pisses you off if the first thing you gotta think after waking up is work...i'm almost fed up with it but hey as of the moment i can't really complain....i'm currently and will be stuck as a corpo slave for a while...

anyway, i never realized that this boring dump can offer you so much (i'm in Cebu by the way)...i got a call from a friend who wants me to go with him to the Basilica de Sto. Nino to say some prayers before leaving for HongKong for some exam stuff...even if i wanted so badly to lock myself in the house the entire day i got no choice but to play the role of being the "good friend"...but my effort was totally compensated when i saw the church for the first time, its suppperrr coolness...its very uplifting to see lots of people saying their own prayers - i never realized there are still lots of those...after almost 2 years of staying here in this boring dump, i've seen the infamous church up close and super tangible for the first time...and to make the entire trip worth it , i went and see Magellan's cross as well...bad thing about the whole thing is i never get to schlep (it's sooo NYC) my digicam with me...no camwhorin' happened...but i'm gonna be back there for sure...

...after my "holy-i gotta-find-myself" moment in the church, i went to the mall and bought some new boxers from Calvin Klein and some fisherman capri and owww i found Charcoal's gorgeous leather sandals (they're manufactured in Argentina) Havaianas is sooo yesterday...these are some of the stuff i'll be taking with me on my 4-nights, 5-days getaway at the Shangrila in Mactan...can't wait...my cam's already fully charged for absolute camwhorin...
