Bohol and finishing slumdog

...i'm now back in Cebu after spending the weekend in Bohol with my girlfriends and i'll be back working my ass off again tonight...trying to catch up on things i missed

...surprisingly, i enjoyed Bohol big time...i'm not the "nature/beach lover" type but when i was there i asked myself why i didn't bother getting to this place way back when i have much time to spare knowing that it's just few hours from Cebu...oh well, i definitely will go back and will enjoy it more the next time



...the beach was almost perfect (well i don't have much comparison - as i've said, hitting the beach is always in the last of my list hehehe)...spent few hours soaking up in in the sun, just listening to some random tracks played on my iPod while watching beautiful strangers passing by :)





...before dinner time, i finished watching Slumdog Millionaire which i immensely enjoyed, one of the best films i've seen this year...and yeah - the hype around the movie is true...i guess it deserved all its Oscar glory..and i've been overplaying Jai Ho in my ipod unconsciously hehehe



...i'll skip the part of posting pictures about Chocolate Hills, tarsiers and all that stuff (i'm sure all of you are way too familiar with it heheh)...i'll leave that to my girlfriends :)



...i now have to get back to sleep...my brain stopped working :)

off to Bohol

..i'll be with my girls few hours from now in Bohol...we're making separate trips though...they'll be coming from CDO while i'll be catching up with them this morning




...finally i could get to see the place after almost 5 years being in Cebu...i just didn't have the time to go until now

...i'm off to a bad start (miss the first trip) but hopefully things will get better when i get there

...i'm having a very bad headache that it felt like my head's going to crack open...and now it progressed to becoming a fever

...the price you have to pay for too much partying the last 3 days...but it was all worth it...i haven't had much fun like that in a long time...new found friends - they're just amazing sometimes

...i'm catching up with American Idol...i just finished downloading 4 back episodes and i'm running an idol marathon after this post...this has been one of the craziest weeks ever for me work wise...so much happened in a span of 4 days and that includes saying goodbye to a friend :(

...anyway, this is the reason why i'm watching Idol...Megan...i just love her...she is my new Jennifer Garner :)



...i hope she gets to crack Top 24...i'm soo excited :)

bitter!

...everyone's talking about the Rihanna and Chris Brown incident this week...it's too sad to know that their relationship ended (though not confirmed) in a very sour note...

...it was just almost like yesterday where me and my friends immensely enjoyed their Manila tour...it was soo much fun - we didn't mind sweating in the middle of a huge crowd and belting out their songs like we were on steroids (specially during Rihanna's set) :)



...oh well, all good things come to an end

...this too shall pass...now, time for me to get back to this assignment my boss left me with...it's actually a report that i need to interpret and i don't have any idea where to start or how to even begin deciphering it...it looks like a huge brail sheet with multiple numbers in it...goodluck!!!

...way to spend the Valentines day right? and it's not only me by the way, my whole program is on critical workday mode this V-day...guess they all have to spend their V-day in the office after all hehehe



...yeah, i'm bitter :)

about jeepney rides

...i took the jeepney earlier to Ayala because i had the luxury of time and the weather's just fine...it's always interesting to be inside a jeepney - it's a different crowd everytime...sometimes you get to sit right next to someone good looking enough to take home to your mom (well, i consider that a lucky day) or you'll be seated right next to someone who badly needs a deodorant (and that is a torture...oh yes) and trust me it happens almost all the time bwhehehe

...the worst thing about riding a jeepney is the "waiting" part...i can't stand the multiple stops you have to endure before you get to your destination...a 10 minute ride in a cab can be more than 30 minutes in a jeepney...but aside from that i think it's all ok...again, i had the luxury of time earlier and i didn't mind waiting :)

...grabbed some Frapp at the Coffee Bean and i'm now thinking where to have lunch



V-day is almost here, and i know for some it's overrated (well i think only for those who are bitter with love, and that does not include me hehehe)...either i'll have a date or not i'll be just fine :)

...have you stared at someone so beautiful like Bella does with Edward Cullen??? i think i just did...i'm sitting right next to this guy in Seattle's Best and he looks like a God and he's turning me into a mediocre looking mortal...if only i can steal glances often without him noticing then i'd be happier

1. I have an obsession for anything that is orange - Tonio (my Macbook) is the perfect example.

2. I have a 3-year old blog, it's my little narcissistic shrine...and i read older posts to reminisce from time to time.

4. My dream job is to become a barista for Starbucks. I'm planning to do a part-time later this year.

i had a little bit too much

...had an early lunch earlier at Cyma with guys from work and i think i had a bit too much of this Paidakia...it was sooo good that i finished all of it and had a flaming mango for dessert after



...and now i'm having an upset stomach :( i already took an antacid pill earlier and skipped the coffee...i hope i'll feel better later in the morning

...i need to pack my stuff for tomorrow's trip to Sumilon...even if i'm sick, i'm still going...can't wait...yay!

...this might be a very busy week at work (yeah, the princess is in the building till Saturday - my super sosyal boss) but i'm looking forward to reward myself with something fab by the weekend...i'll be spending an overnight stay at Sumilon Bluewater Island Resort (hehehe complete title thank you)...



...it's going to be my first time in the island..i'm not quite the beach type but it's been a long time since i last soak in the sun so i kinda need it...

...booked 2 rooms earlier...five of us are going...one room for the girls and i'll share the other room with our one and only boy companion bweheheh

...stop calling me or sending me text messages, i guess it will be more easy that way...i thought we can be friends and act like everything went ok but i guess i was wrong...i never thought you'd see me that way - someone putting you through much shame...cold, heartless and yeah evil...

...Saturday shift for me is always a killer...not because of too much work but because of lack of it...most of the time, i get to take care of all important work stuff from Tuesday to Friday that i usually have nothing left to do come Saturday (yeah, too much of a slack time actually)

...i still have 3 hours to go before my shift ends and boredom is killing me softly...i ended uploading super vintage pictures in Facebook earlier (some were even from 5 years ago hehehe)

...if you're Pinoy then it's in your blood to know how to cook adobo and that's what i did on a Friday night instead of going out drinking or something somethin' hehehe

...my momma would be so proud if she was here to see me cooked chicken adobo for the first time and in fairness it's not bad - well, her's will always be the best version i get to taste in this lifetime but i think this is decent enough that i think i can cook it for my friends...i'm getting more and more domesticated....next in the list is sinigang hehehe...goodluck with that :)



...woke up a bit early around 4AM and since i was bored i decided to do jogging bwehehe...it felt weird coz this is sooo not me..i'm not the fitness freak type but anyway it was fun...i enjoyed jogging for more than an hour...with this awesome playlist blazin' from my ipod, it felt like not tiring at all...here's the list :)

laundry self-service

...it turned out i'm free this Friday night and what way best to spend it than doing my laundry (again)...it has been a routine now for the last 3 days since i changed schedule that i must do laundry before going to bed...it's the best alternative to my ever dependable anti-histamines

...plus the fact that the weather's back to normal, i don't need any spin dryer...right after waking up, the first thing on the list is to get them off from the clothesline and fold 'em up...this is such a stress-free thing and it made me feel more domesticated hehehe (yeah, like the desperate housewife material)

...i wish i can be as gorgeous as Shakira when doing my laundry noh?



...who knows, i can make this a fallback career bwheehe

...and ow by the way, i didn't mean to hurt you, and you're over-reacting...and i'm tired of being sorry (as if it will do any good)

tired, late and a music video premiere

...spent one crazy weekend (well, tiring would be the perfect word for it)...spent Sinulog weekend with my bestfriend though most of the time we were locked up inside the hotel because Fuente was insanely crowded (we were booked in Rajah Park Hotel which was right in the middle of Fuente)



...this is what it looked like below...crowded is an understatement



...only managed to get 3 hours of sleep coz i had a stratplan scheduled (yeah, nasty work stuff - total spoiler)...did a powerpoint presentation with an aching head and took a dip in the pool right after dinner time



...finally got my package from the mail but it's a bit too late...the weather's back to it's usual way...and it's not that cold anymore...i'll be keeping these babies until i can get the perfect time to use them again



...at least this one is something you can pull off on a normal Friday night (dressdown time bb)

UPDATE:

...i hate the fact that some of my friends can't come over because of cancelled flights (my bestfriend's last resort was to travel 6 hours to Davao just to get to Cebu)damn! A+ for effort my friends!

...spent a nice big family dinner earlier (well, not really my biological family heheh but my bestfriend's)...it's always nice to spend dinner with spoiled kids around in full nosebleed mode - they're just soo cute



...Cyma's Baklava was quite disappointing though or maybe i just don't like the fact that they had cinnamon powder spread all over it...Tinderbox's version was way better...oh well, at least the Souvlaki's perfect as always :)
