it's middle of July already and i'll be super busy in the next 2 weeks preparing for a quarter business review, finalizing my flight to the US and taking my mother dear around Cebu by end of the month

crazy days..time flies fast when you're having fun indeed (yes even when you're at work)

on a break

i'm on blog hiatus again and i know i made a promise to myself to blog more often but i just cant...the past 2 weeks were hell workwise and i need time to recover and take my mind off things

...i'll have another US trip coming in a couple of months and that's something to look forward to but for now, i'll go back to breeding dragons...and yes, i finally got to breed the coveted emerald dragon..yes! LOL!

the art of working weekends

...i have been very busy for the last 3 weeks and spent most of my weekend in the beach (one in Bantayan and one in Camotes - all work related by the way)...i am now sporting a much darker tan and i think it will take more than a month to get back to my natural color but i don't really mind..i even want to have another dose of sun lovin' while doing this post and feel infinite all over again :)



i had more fun in Camotes and enjoyed it better than Bantayan...Camotes is such a charming island and i was instantly captivated...i like the fact that it's not too commercial yet and it's more laidback compared to other islands in Cebu...the view is breath-taking and it's the perfect way to kickstart summer and a perfect backdrop to do some color blocking ala summer/spring 2012 LOL!



...i have also spent most of my free time raping the mic to do some karaoke (and yes, i made my own Whitey tribute and i feel i did her justice LOL!)...i think that by the time we left the island, peace was restored and Camotes regained its mystique charm LOL!



..i want to talk more about my fun working weekend but i still need to get back to my Sims game...i have been playing it for a couple of days now and i'm on my way to building an empire with few romantic relationships on the side :)

investment

...it will always come to a point where you'll start thinking about your future and sometimes it hits you in the most unexpected way (i got mine while downing a couple scoops of yogurt LOL!)...i got some money stashed into a savings account but the thought of investing into something bigger didn't come to mind until now

...just last week i finally took the first step of thinking about the future by getting my own condo unit which means i might have to slow down on my splurges (the ridiculously priced headphones, the Hugo Boss and Lacoste shirts, designer eyewear and then some)...got to make small sacrifices for it will all be worth it in the end :)

...this boy will be working so much harder....wish me luck :)

fly in / fly out

...i've taken a break from packing my stuff for Manila...i'll be flying early morning tomorrow to attend a quarter business review (fulltime nosebleed mode) in Makati that will last for 3 hours...so help me God and bless my soul :) if only i could get to spend a little bit longer in this room then i'll be happier :)

...i'll be flying back to Cebu Friday morning just right after having a breakfast fix (now why didn't i haggle with my boss to spend the rest of the weekend in Manila? hmm) oh well...i need to find/do something interesting come Saturday night then

...a date maybe? it's been ages since i had one :)

BIG

...something BIG will happen tonight...they say good things happen to those who wait and i think i've waited long enough for this day to come that i can't forgive myself if i screw it up...i haven't prepared for it yet though i'm thinking i don't really have to...i just have to show 'em what i got and hopefully wing it...i'm starting to have jitters right now it's not even funny and this is so not me

...this is all work related anyway...i felt like i need to write this before i get to sleep (if i can get a decent one)...i should not be thinking about it much...i badly need some mint tea to feel relaxed :)



...if this one goes well then it's going to be a very happy birthday for me and probably be one of the nicest post b-day gift...i'm crossing my fingers :)

no.1

...after much hardwork and pushing a lil' bit more we've managed to achieve something we thought would never happen...being No.1 - and this time it's a super team effort and i'm just super glad that it was all worth it :)

...because of that, it's time for some self pampering and bit of a reward...i'll be heading to Thailand probably 2-3 weeks from now (just finalizing my leave, flight booking and hotel reservation)...it's going to be one of those over the weekend thing..

...time for some Thai eye-candy :)

got to make the move

...i'm once again back to work and i got to make BIG decisions about my career...moving on to something different and getting out of my comfort zone would be quite risky but i'm hoping it will be for the better...everything requires perfect timing and of course a little stroke of luck to get to a place that i need to be with work..

...i'm still a bit disoriented and still in the process of catching up with things but i'm definitely sure that i'll be able to get this worked out before this shift ends..

...surprisingly, i'm now feeling sleepy (even with a grande soy latte from Starbs by my side)...this is my usual bed time when i was on vacation...gotta make another body clock change again
