...i've been getting my alcohol fix for 3 weekends in a row and i'm getting proud for my alcohol tolerance these days that i can even brag about it ha! but i know this ain't a good thing and it needs to stop...i won't be going back to my happy place anytime soon...chill mode maybe a month or two before dosing my system with alcohol again

...and with the current situation Manila is in i think it is very inappropriate to talk about alcohol when others are losing almost everything...the situation was just really depressing that i can't even do a daily dose of Facebrag..in time, everyone will be going back to normal but it's going to be one that takes a lot of effort and a dose of help will go a long way...thankfully all my friends in Manila are safe :)

...the next few days will be brighter :)

fallback

....took few days leave from work because i was already too exhausted and i thought that if i have to go to work for one more day i'll collapse...i was already dead tired this morning so when shift ended all i can think of was my bed...but after 3 hours of sleep (that's more than enough for a power nap) i just couldn't get back to my dreamland :(

...it's a Friday night and i'm suppose to make the most out of the time i'm away from work but i realized i got no one to go out with...pathetic! all of my closest friends are in CDO with few some geographically located halfway around the world...and i don't want to go out with some random acquaintances just for the sake of being able to go out...or go on a mercy date, that is just desperate

...that's the perk of being in a relationship...you always have a fallback whenever needed...a fallback for almost everything - a coffee break partner, a weekender buddy , the titles are endless...and yes that didn't sink in until now...but for what it's worth i'm still better off being single than be in a shiteous relationship...but then again, i might just be bitter :P

a bit imperfect

...i downloaded Mariah Carey's latest album after it leaked few minutes earlier and i find there's something a bit off with her voice in this latest effort though i just can't point my finger on what it is...probably i'll figure it out after the 4th replay...maybe this album will grow on me much like Obsessed did for me

...anyway, i spent my weekend in Clark to attend Santino's first birthday...got to see some old friends and was the perfect time to get really wasted...this video doesn't even explain how wasted we were that night

...finally! 09/09/09 was the date i was waiting for...was super excited after seeing the premier few months back and i got the show's lead single on heavy rotation in my iPod

...i'm officially obsessed with Glee...i'm on their Fan Page in Facebook, i'm following them on Twitter and i got all the mp3s from the 2nd episode



...Wednesday is the best day of the week starting today...and that's Thursday for piratebay babies :) can't wait to see the cast's version of Somebody To Love...Mercedes killed it!

feel the rain on your skin

...been enjoying the weather lately...it's the perfect excuse to go on a full time hibernate mode but little bit earlier the rain was pouring like crazy that i gave in to the temptation

...went outside and felt the rain on my skin...felt like i went back in time when i was a lil' kid enjoying every last drop of rain...it was superduper good



...moroccan mint tea after the rain was just the perfect fix i needed...the next thing i know i woke up 3am starving yet super relaxed :)

...i wanted Diesel's Fuel for Life so badly but too bad it's still not available in Rustan's, yeah they've ran out of stocks...even in Manila!

...good thing i found a new scent i could use while waiting for Fuel to become available...this is somewhat like a hybrid between D&G's Light Blue and Versace's Eau Friache but only bit better :)

...so if you wanna know what makes me smelling yummy these days, it's coz of this :)

...and the housewarming will never stop...coz we got another one coming up this Sunday and this time, guys from work will fill up the guest list...hey at least i got something planned for the weekend already :)

...i'm looking forward for the next 2 Sundays after this week coz i'm booked at the Shangri-la...way to end the month...a few much deserved RnR for me

...last week was super good coz i got to spend time with the best people in the world in the same place...had few cocktails and had Italian dinner, catching up on those times we missed each other's company :)

another weekend, another housewarming...had a little bit too much of Selecta's Gold series ice cream...those brownies and truffles are to die for...they're addictive for weekends

...was supposed to just go back to sleep after dinner but why waste a saturday night? i went out with the fab fags...had some alcohol, gossips and more gossips till we get to the point that we were bored and decided to call it a night







...did a camwhore session at home and raided the fridge for some leftovers...time to put the microwave into good use :)

home alone

...all my housemates left for Manila and i'm all alone this weekend...this is going to be fun...a housewarming perhaps for some close friends here in Cebu?

down with the sickness

...i was alread halfway my shift when i decided to call it a day and go straight home...it was my first time to go undertime from work all because of this fever..

...last temperature check was 38.1 (so yeah, i'm literally hot)...i'll be skipping work tonight to take a full rest and hopefully by the time i wake up i'll feel better...if not then i'll resort to having myself checked in the hospital

...house arrest mode starts now...channel and web surfing combo coming up :)

...i spent the last 2 days lifting packing things, lifting boxes, doing quick fixes and all that comes in between...yes, the art of moving - to a different place that is :)

...i now got a bad case of muscle sore and badly needs some pain reliever but it's all worth it :)

...i'm sure going to be an online junkie and most probably be back to blogging again since my new place got unlimited wifi and way big enough for me to do cartwheels in the morning

175k book drive

...well, one thing interesting happened this week and it involved one thing i really like - charity work...it's something i don't get to do that often so whenever i get the chance i always make sure to make the most out of it...

...our company had a book drive campaign few weeks back and since all of my books were not kid appropriate (i'd be shocked if there's a kid out there who can tolerate few chapters of Wicked hehehe) i opted to just have some cash taken out from my salary and used it to purchase books for kids (i saw Alamat ng Lamok as one of the purchased titles bwhaahha! like WTF?!!! who would even bother knowing the mythical origin of mosquitos - oh well! hehehe)



...we went to i think the most remotely located school in existence like it was placed right smack in the middle of the jungle and i was wondering where those kids came from since i can't see much houses in the area...weird...just plain weird





...anyway, on top of delivering the books, we spent almost an hour reading some books to the kids from grade 1 to 5....it was something i haven't done before so the experience was really A+ :)



...if you take out the travel time and the effort you have to do to get there, i think i'd like to do it again :)

...i haven't posted anything for the last couple of weeks and that's because i don't have much to talk about myself lately...i'm such a bore sometimes

dos palmas weekend

...WOW philippines mode one more time for me after spending the last weekend in Dos Palmas Palawan...i know that there is soo much too see in that province but i opted to stay in the island and went on full chill mode coz i know once i get back to work, its going to be probably the busiest 2 weeks of my life...one of those quarter enders yah know :)



...i won't go through too much details of things i did when i was there coz i'm feeling lethargic and i still have few episodes left for my "Lie To Me" marathon though one thing's for sure...i gained another few pounds just being there for the weekend (imagine a bloated blowfish heheheh)...see below :(



...and ow, did i tell you i am now in a relationship? love is in the air for me heheheeh

little help

...i'll be leaving Cebu once again this weekend and be off to Dos Palmas in Palawan...i don't have the slightest idea on what to do once i'm there...good thing there's Google and Facebook for some help



...now i gotta find my slippers i lost over the weekend so i can be all set for the trip

it's the climb!

...i'm now back in Cebu and i am super duper tired that i'm thinking of skipping work tonight and think of some lame excuse..maybe having a bad case of swine flu? yes? hehehe

...i got more than what i expected from last weekend's christening of my bestfriend's baby Simone....night before the christening, we went to some local festival and gatecrashed a family dinner (that of the province's governor hehehe), was a bit awkward at first but it turned out to be really fun (i now know how popular Jai Ho and Poker Face - they were on auto-repeat mode the whole time we were there)...capped the night with few bottles of beer and some fireworks display :)







...the christening was almost like a reunion of old friends from college and it was a very private event and was almost perfect (except for the bee that kept flying over our heads the entire time during the ceremony hehehe)...followed with a lunch party after and the must have photo-ops in between :)







...me and baby Simone :) as i've said before, i'm sure she's going to be as pretty as her mom :)



...took some few hours taking power naps (and some Facebook marathon in between hehehe - thankfully the guestroom has wi-fi and my bestfriend got 2 spare portables to use...i love the Viviene Tam from HP)



...we then had dinner with my bestfriend's family...it was soo much fun catching up with old friends over some wine and cheese and making up for those times we haven't seen each other...we didn't even mind the heavy rain outside :)

...it's almost 7am and so far i'm the first one to be wide awake from partying too much last night...i'm sharing this guestroom with the best friends i'm going to have in this lifetime...and i've got a lot to thank for :)



...i'm just super duper happy to be in this town, to celebrate my bestfriend's baby christening...and yes, Simone is just an angel and i'm sure she's going to grow up as pretty as her mom :)



...nyway, i gotta keep this short...i'm blogging using a Vivienne Tam HP portable coz my Mac's drained...my chubby fingers are not used to typing in these tiny keyboard...i'm a big fan of Mac but i should say that this baby is something to love...i want one heheheh :)

...i badly need some retail therapy today and some haircut but then again i'm thinking of procrastinating since i'm going to be in Manila in the next 2 weeks anyway..better do a one-time big-time shopping than wasting time trying to find something wearable here in Cebu...as you all know, choices are too limited

...if Zara and Topman opens up a branch here, i'll be happier...now i got to ponder if i'll do some shopping or wait till i get to Manila hmmmm
