my blonde days are over, heroes and a happy new year

...woke up feeling so lethargic and bored at the same time that the first thing that i want to have is a cup of coffee and a new hair color...thank God there's already a 24-hour Starbucks open few cartwheels away from my office to get me through my daily caffiene craving...so i drag up my lazy ass and went to starbuckcs, ordered the good ole mocha valencia (non-fat/no whip of course) and some tuna turnover for some carb to burn the whole morning...

...few hours later, i was in the salon having a new hair color (its dark golden blonde this time), good thing abou it is that i was able to stick to my new year's resolution to at least have a hair color every 3 months...well not really technically (coz i got hair color 2 weeks after the other heehe) but all in all i had it done 4 times this year, this being the 4th...







***argghh....i hate my chubby cheeks hahaha or let's just say my high cheek bones are working its way :)

...i'm currently hooked to "HEROES" right now...its' NBC's newest series that's a super hit in the US...i've spent my whole off from work locking myself in the house and spending a marathon of 9 (going 11th) super amzing episodes...and i can't wait to see the rest...


...the show is about genetic alteration/evolution happened to a group of people and how this gift get them connected to one another...there's a cheerleader from Texas who's indestructible (her powers remind me of Wolverine - self healing to the highest level), there a heroine addict artist who can draw the future (i wonder if he can do mine hehehe), there's the geeky Japanese whose power is to bend and stop time and space (now that's what Aqua's track is talkin' about ---turning back time)...then it also includes one family of heroes - Ali Larter (Final Destination) who has a powerful dark alter ego she sees everytime she faces the mirros, her husband who can pass through any solid object even human body (reminds of Kitty Pride/Shadowcat, then their son who's also have his own way of fixing anything mechanical (his real powers are not fully shown yet) and of course 2 hotness brothers who can both fly and a lot more...









...no wonder this show was included in TIME magazine's "27 people that mattered in 2006" can't wait for the new episodes coming out next year...and oww by the new year, it's official site will run a marathon of past episodes back-to-back...super nice...

...few days left before the new year, hope will end/start the year with a bang (some bangin' in my bedpost wouldn't hurt heheheh)....hope you all got your resoltuions list ready (i am done with half) - gosh! if only they were too easy to follow...oh well...

haven't had my coffee for the day...still can't sleep and it's way past my bedtime (i don't have my usual life support - my vodka and my sleeping pills - i've ran out of it and my lazy ass is too tired to go get some)

...i've taken the space bubble and traveled way back the 80's...to the time where Miami Vice is the hottest TV show on earth, the more "baduy" the better, the time where Sheryl Cruz and Jennifer Sevilla rivaled like the ultimate teen queens of today , where Gary V's cuts is the only thing you need to get through the day (Di na Natuto hehehe)...where Madonna and Kylie's old disco pop hits are the life of the party ("coz you keep on pushing my love over the borderline" --- that's what is in the background right now)...'m actually talking like its as if I lived my peak at that era...which is something so not true...but sometimes I actually wished i was a part of it...

...Oh well, with so much less time, was able to manage to pull it off - the 80's inspired Christmas party i mean...leggings, skinny jeans, bolero, Chuck Taylors, acid wash jeans, vest, aviators, the infamous "Romnick Sarmienta way" of wearing your polos with a shirt all tucked under your high waist pants, shoulder pads, the "Bagets" get-up, plastic loop earrings and bangles - it was actually endless and super coolness....one thing that i can't mess up to complete the whole feel of the 80's was my hair...oh well, everyone deserves an excuse right? hehehe...

...felt like Mariah on steroids again belting out the classical "Oh Holy Night" for our caroling performance (my agents were the backup choir by the way and i was the diva of course hehehe)...everyone was just on a very festive mood that most of them didn't bother about the queuing volume of calls...this is something I would want to do again next year (if i'm still at this field)...

...and ow i deserve a big hug and congratulations hehehe...the final scores are in....still the top TL for the last 3 consecutive months...and 4 of my agents are in the Top 5 for the whole program out of almost 200 agents...now that's something that will make me happy this X-mas...

mah new faux-mohawk/surfer/emo look, Starbucks cheer party, teasers and old high school friends

after 33.5 hours of hibernation (no exaggeration 'bout that and mind you that didn't include any shot of vodka or a pill - it's pure effortless hibernation hehehe) i finally got to share some stuff i did for the last 2 days...

...after work, i went to Fix to got some haircut (my bangs length starts to get alarming), but since it was on a queue, i decided to get some mani/pedicure first to kill some time rather than lifelessly waiting for my cut to be done...

...it was coolness since MC's x-mas album was playing in the background...was belting out a cut or two while my nails are being done...my stylist was browsin through some mags to get some new idea for mah new look...i wanted to have a new hair color but it's still a month since i got my last hair color so that was something out of the way (maybe first week of next year will do)...

..'m a last minute shopper for x-mas and i wasn't in the mood to buy some stuff so i just went around the mall looking for some stuff to buy later (if only i was in Manila, i could have grabbed some of the best stuff for x-mas) oh well, i'll just stick to what this boring dump could offer..bought some Calvin Klein's camisole and hipster for a friend and a red Lacoste for mahself and was out of the mall after that...

...i then met up with some friends from high school who made a pit stop at Cebu before goin back to our hometown...had dinner and coffee and had some vodka which made me realized Cebu's nightlife on a Monday is totally dead...oh well...

...was checkin mah emails from work and saw this...





...they used mah pictures for some teasers without even tellin me or maybe they did but i didn't paid much attention...oh well, what's done is done...who am I to complain anyway???...

...lastly, i gotta thank the guys from Starbucks for showing their love by inviting me to this Cheers party and their upcoming opening of a new branch few cartwheels away from mah office...yipeee!!!...who would wanna pass on free coffees and some desserts ayt? love 'em...
