the Chi spa journey, too much water and a worhtless movie

WHEW! whattaday...was rushing my ass to get off the office to get some much needed sleep cause 3 hours after i need to get up and start a very long day...started it off with a swimming session with mah new BFF Ian at the City Sports club for almost 2 hours then had a rush lunch (my appointment at Shang is 2pm) at Golden Cowrie (adobong talong, dinuguan, lechon kawali, pork sinigang and kinilaw hehehe - to make up for all the lost calories during the swim hehehe)...







...arrived at Shang just in time...started with some hot shower then had a one-hour yoga session which is something i haven't tried yet...was sweating like crazy and i think i lost a gazillion baby fats after the session hehehe...then spent some few minutes in the jacuzzi...had a body scrub after and spent few more laps in the pool before calling it a day ( i need to workout again --- i'm in the borderline of morbid obesity) heheheh... ---- if only water can wash it all away i'd be be so happy :)

...went to Ayala after to have dinner with a friend from Manila for some catching up...checked out some movie ("Zombies" ---a worthless one - just to kill time -- and ow it's the only one we were able to caught up for the last full show)...grabbed some coffee at Starbucks...went to his hotel and slept like a log...ow, that happened after making this post...

...why does it happen sometimes that we fall in love for someone who we never imagine ending up with? falling for the type of person who doesn't even fit in any of the categories we set for the "perfect one"...

...but surprisingly, they turned out to be what we wanted after all, they can do the sweetest stuff in the world, completely knocking us off our feet (imagine the classic "Princess Diaries" kiss)...they gave us the most unexpected gift at the most unexpected time...and we can even say to the world that they're the best thing that happened to us...sweetness eh?

...finally got my an appointment booked at Chi Spa in Shangrila after having it delayed for the longest time...guess i've been procastinating for too long already...if i can find another excuse this time not to do it, then the treat's down the drain...cancellation of an appointment is as good as saying bye-bye to this yummy treat :)

oh well...hope i can get my lazy ass to Shang this time and on time :)

...May 1's premiere for Spidey and i can get to see it the earliest at 8:00 A.M. --- oh yes...earlier than anybody else---and for free---company movie day :)...who would want to resist that?

...too bad i can't tag future boyfie along :( i'll get him a fake ID by tomorrow hehehe

...another close friend of mine from work is going back to Manila (gosh! when will this stop...seems everyone is leaving me..depressing) hehehe...since i won't be seeing her for a long time we decided to have one big breakfast at the Marco Polo...was starving like crazy but then no...i just had some salad...my appetite got lost all of a sudden for some strange reason...maybe it's the smell of capers...oh well...



...i'm gonna miss Maui (she's one of those who've seen me at my lowest - yah know what i mean hehehe) and i thank you for being there for me and for putting up with my monstrosities hehehe...i won't forget you for being an ultimate archive of anything vintage...80's galore :)

...i got lots of reason to be happy and be feelin' good all over...hope this is not just a temporary high...i'll make sure to enjoy every ounce of it...

...had a movie date with mah new BFF Ian, followed with the yummiest dinner and got to spend some quality time with my future boyfie...there's only one word for this --- it's bliss :)

...this coming week is perfect, side from working for only 3 days, i get to spend friday night partyin' to Kaskade's "Love Mysterious" Tour (which reminds me to get the tickets from Mikee)



...then the morning after...i gotta spend the whole day pamperin' myself at the Chi Spa village at the Shangri-la Mactan...i can finally get to use this...

super blue for all the right reasons

...been drowning myself lately with too much alcohol (been on a 2-shot tequila breakfast for the last 3 days now) and sooner i'll be finding myself sitting in one of those AA sessions...this gotta stop!

tequila overdose for a boring Monday night

...got a planned drinking spree at Marj's condo on a monday night (since i got no work, might as well get wasted)...she cooked some carbonara and longganisa from Lucban (weird combo i know)...she had some vodka already chilled and i brought some wine...thing is when i got there turned out she doesn't have a corkscrew for the wine so i needed some help from up above (literally hehehe)

...another close friend got a unit 5 floors higher from where i was who unfortunately doesn't have a corkscrew but she offered something i just can't resist...a bottle of tequila rose paired with the good 'ole jose cuervo...tequila overdose galore!!! and ow someone from Don Henrico's sent some love over (delish chicken and spicy beef salad...yums!)




***perfect medication for a boring Monday night

...didn't take much time to get halfway with the tequila rose till it was bottoms up...she was knocked out while i managed to get a few shots of cuervo, texted someone to come over for a drunken shag and doze off...

...woke up with an aching head and i was throwing up like crazy...never felt miserable like this for the longest time...i'm not lonely but i'm not happy...the thought of going back to work makes me wanna throw up more...

...was texting with someone earlier while having my solitude coffee moment at Starbucks before starting my shift...at first i was giggling and smiling then few text messages after I was in a sudden melancholic state...this is soo unfair...felt like I'm cursed when it comes to love...oh well...i guess i'm just gonna accept it..

...saw this from Mikee's blog and i just can't help but to have it posted...Alanis made a parody out of Black-eyed Peas's "My Humps"...this is really funny and i'm still looking for the audio file to have it loaded up in my ipod :)

nip/tuck moment at ultima and i got skid marks in mah head

...had a super busy weekend that this post is soo way overdue but anyway i'll leave some of the details behind...i'll spill the important ones...

...got a nip/tuck moment at club ultima last sunday...i need desperate help with mah face, in fairness to me, i haven't got much pimple the fact that i'm in a call center and i'm doing graveyard shift for the longest time hahaha (yeah yeah i'm justifying)...just wanted to have a more refreshing look...a revitalized skin...enough of the "rough/haggard" look hehehe...i still got 8 sessions left to see its end result...but gotta tell yah, i'm feeling a whole lot fresh now hehehe..

...and since summer is here, i revived an old hairstyle i've been wanting to sport ages ago...i got my shaved off on both sides and having the other side placed with like skid marks...OMG!!! this is so fucking straight...
