gold series

...i bought a pint of Selecta Gold's hazelnut brownie last Sunday which i enjoyed like a fat kid loves cake :) and just earlier before heading home, i decided to make a pit stop at a convenience store to buy another pint...it's sinfully good and it's making me super happy :)

...there's just something with ice cream that instantly gives you that euphoric feeling...blissful...happy and more happy thoughts...and when it's all gone, you want to do it all over again :)

now where did all those brownie chunks go?

another happy weekend

...my Manila weekend vacation was just something i needed...got to spend time with friends (those that i haven't seen in almost 4 years) and of course i get to spend time with my bestfriend...multiple coffee breaks, fancy lunch and of course the much needed retail therapy (i guess i went overboard with what i was suppose to spend)

...Sunday was super special coz i get to spend time with Simone (my bestfriend's baby) for the first time...we had lunch at Chelsea and head to Sonja for some dessert

...back in Cebu, and a signal no.1 welcomes me back to work, guess this is the perfect sign that vacation mode is over...good thing i bought the Percy Jackson series and something from Melissa dela Cruz (it's like Vampire Diaries meets Gossip Girl)...indulgent reading at it's finest


*these babies will keep me on house arrest this weekend :)

...the only thing i don't like about the weather is i can't get to wear this perfect pair of sneakers i bought last week from Zara...oh well , bad timing i guess



...and ow, did i tell you i haven't see New Moon yet? i need a date! :)

i'm about to leave

...my stint in Clark is just few days away before it's all over...finally!!!! - 4 more days to go and i'm going back to good 'ole Cebu...few things happened though last weekend....2 of my closest friends from work moved back to Manila for good, now that makes Cebu a bit lonelier for me :(

...i would no longer have my usual coffee/lunch break buddies and that means i need to look for new friends or else i'll end up spending my breaks alone and that is depressing...i was able to spend the weekend though with Goldine (and i'm sure i won't be seeing her for a long time)...had dinner at Chelsea's in Serendra with Chubaboink (who happened to have spent the whole weekend with me as well)

..started off with dessert at Sonja's with her sister Connie who happened to be our official driver that night :) - we started backwards since almost all restos are in a waitlist mode



...waited few minutes to get a table (we had a waitlist at Abe! as well, just in case)





...had some oven-baked seafood pasta, five cheese pizza and some angus burger...and as usual my appetite didn't fail me hehehe



...another carbo overload done :)



...had one more round of dessert after, this time at Xocolat - ordered a shot of kahlua-baileys-dark chocolate combo - just enough to get rid of the oily taste in my mouth :)

...spent few more hours checkin' the whole strip before calling it a night...i'm back again to counting the hours left before my work here is done

...i'm gonna make a pit stop first at Subic before heading back to Cebu - whale watching galore!!!
