another happy weekend

...my Manila weekend vacation was just something i needed...got to spend time with friends (those that i haven't seen in almost 4 years) and of course i get to spend time with my bestfriend...multiple coffee breaks, fancy lunch and of course the much needed retail therapy (i guess i went overboard with what i was suppose to spend)

...Sunday was super special coz i get to spend time with Simone (my bestfriend's baby) for the first time...we had lunch at Chelsea and head to Sonja for some dessert

...back in Cebu, and a signal no.1 welcomes me back to work, guess this is the perfect sign that vacation mode is over...good thing i bought the Percy Jackson series and something from Melissa dela Cruz (it's like Vampire Diaries meets Gossip Girl)...indulgent reading at it's finest


*these babies will keep me on house arrest this weekend :)

...the only thing i don't like about the weather is i can't get to wear this perfect pair of sneakers i bought last week from Zara...oh well , bad timing i guess



...and ow, did i tell you i haven't see New Moon yet? i need a date! :)

in loving memory : Ash's Hair Blower ( Oct 2006 - June 18,2007 )

...i'm in a mourning state right now...after almost a year of totally abusing my blower to the full extent it finally gave up...was using it earlier when suddenly smoke came out from its nozzle and when i checked it, it gave a faint glow like a dying flashlight...the moment is so depressing...it made me cry...oh well. thanks for all the memories :)



...it's gonna be "cap day" for the next 3 days to work till i can get a new blower by the time my off comes...guess i'm gonna be spending more time with this baby :)



...on a lighter note, i finally was able to have some time with my girls for a lunch break at Roma Mia for some godfather chops and tuna belly - my schedule's really nasty - it keeps me away from my lovelife and my close friends..oh well...gotta save up more moolah so i can stop being a corpo slave and live a normal life...i can perfectly paint a picture out of it now...







...snap back to reality...still got tons of coaching to do :)

...and ow...Goldine drop-off something to ruin my diet hehehe...the "to-die-for" cupcakes from Sonja (feels like Sex and the City all over again) and some Krispy Kremes...hyper mode for too much sugar but still they're super YUM!

HEROES's Godsend, date for V-day and much Krispy Kremes

FINALLY!!! after almost a month of much anticipation and getting a cliffhanger (enough to get me a bit impatient for the next episode) HEROES's Godsend was aired (after being on a winter hiatus)...this time it's gonna be the beginning of so much more to come and to unfold...new characters are shown, secrets are revealed to answer some questions i had from the past episodes...and one question is still left unanswered:

"You've saved the cheerleader and saved the world, but are you on the list? "

...passed by the DVD stalls along Mercury Drug earlier and saw a pirated DVD copy of Season 1 already...it's not gonna take long till it becomes a must-have for an obsessed fan like me (not unless i wanna kill my HD for so much downloaded stuff)

...i'm gonna be having few days off from work but this time I'm just going to hibernate and finish Prison Break after ( i missed Wentworth already) unless you "Mr-you-know-who-you-are"' gonna invite me for a movie out or a dinner then i'll be more than happy to pass on Prison Break...it's almost Valentine's day and i need to have a date by that time...i spent it last year working mah ass off without any fancy dinner/chocolates or even flowers heheheh (as if i expected those) not even an invitation (oh wait, I guess there was but i just passed on it)...anyway Valentine's day is way overrated or am I just bitter with love? hmmmm

...felt the need to reward myself with some carbo overload...been working double time for the last 5 days (i got an assessment coming up for another promotion by Feb 15 - it's in the bag but I don't want to assume much)...finished almost half a dozen of Krispy Kremes and to-die-for cupcakes from Sonja (this is so Sex and the City) with a grande iced mocha to go with it...i'm gonna go obese next week when all the fat from these junks sink in...

 ***i need to workout...i'm getting fat :(
