going Korean for a cut and a bridal shower for someone sooo special :)

...i badly need a haircut as much as i badly need a date for Valentines day...haven't had my hair fixed for the longest time (think the last one was still before X-mas)...i was too tired to pick up the blow dryer few hours before my shift so i was wearing a cap the whole time...right after work, i got myself some full body massage then went to Fix to have a haircut but since I was 4th in the list, i wouldn't want to waste much time waiting, i decided to have my hair done at Tony and Jackey's (newest salon that offers the best Korean hairstyle)...well as they say, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em...

...the salon was nice with an internet lounge available for you while waiting and a locker for your stuff...only downside is, the hairstylists are all Koreans and they don't speak much English, so you would need to talk to the manager/interpreter to get the hairstyle that you wanted...all i wanna have is to trim my hair a bit and give it a lighter look...and that's just what i exactly got...and i love it...

...a close friend from the office (my Operations Manager) is leaving to pursue something personal and it's gonna be her last day for work...so to give her a send-off party, we came up with a bridal shower themed farewell party for her...we filled her office with lots of white and gold balloons, some sweet notes from almost everyone in the program and a bouquet of course to complete the whole set-up...

***autistic mode with the balloons and Bogart (mah bitch) hehehhe

...it didn't really sink it that she will be leaving until now, aside from being my boss she became one of my closest friends (one good reason why i wouldn't wanna leave e-Tel --- the people i've known and came to love)...i've learned a lot from her and i just want her to know that I'm very proud of her for having the courage to go for something that she really wanted...willing to get out of her comfort zone and take risks (oh well, love is just so amazing - it can lead you to do things you can never imagine - but still i'm bitter about it)...i've learned so much from her (from being strong/brave, to know when to push back, to fight for the people you care for and so much more)...i'll miss having Sunday lunch cookfest (sinigang with Jude and the infamous adobo), the impulsive shopping (just to prove that money can't really make you happy all the time), for bringing out the vodka drinker in me, for always reminding me about my figure (you know what are code is if it starts to get alarming) for showing that you're someone who really cares for me, and i just need to stop here cause for sure i'm gonna go for hours and hours talking about everything nice about you...

HEROES's Godsend, date for V-day and much Krispy Kremes

FINALLY!!! after almost a month of much anticipation and getting a cliffhanger (enough to get me a bit impatient for the next episode) HEROES's Godsend was aired (after being on a winter hiatus)...this time it's gonna be the beginning of so much more to come and to unfold...new characters are shown, secrets are revealed to answer some questions i had from the past episodes...and one question is still left unanswered:

"You've saved the cheerleader and saved the world, but are you on the list? "

...passed by the DVD stalls along Mercury Drug earlier and saw a pirated DVD copy of Season 1 already...it's not gonna take long till it becomes a must-have for an obsessed fan like me (not unless i wanna kill my HD for so much downloaded stuff)

...i'm gonna be having few days off from work but this time I'm just going to hibernate and finish Prison Break after ( i missed Wentworth already) unless you "Mr-you-know-who-you-are"' gonna invite me for a movie out or a dinner then i'll be more than happy to pass on Prison Break...it's almost Valentine's day and i need to have a date by that time...i spent it last year working mah ass off without any fancy dinner/chocolates or even flowers heheheh (as if i expected those) not even an invitation (oh wait, I guess there was but i just passed on it)...anyway Valentine's day is way overrated or am I just bitter with love? hmmmm

...felt the need to reward myself with some carbo overload...been working double time for the last 5 days (i got an assessment coming up for another promotion by Feb 15 - it's in the bag but I don't want to assume much)...finished almost half a dozen of Krispy Kremes and to-die-for cupcakes from Sonja (this is so Sex and the City) with a grande iced mocha to go with it...i'm gonna go obese next week when all the fat from these junks sink in...

much bliss for Sinulog, Havana nights and back to being a partyphile

...OK...this post is way overdue...i spent much of my time either hibernating (in someone else's arm hehehe) or getting drunk for the weekend with some of the best people in the world (claudine, jhem,soc, mahiar, arlyn, sheila, vida, rochelle and of course chokoleit - the girl version) hehehe... ...it was scorchin' hot Sinulog (and i'm telling you it's not overrated)...lots of beautiful people, colors are everywhere, everyone seems to be instant friendly (even moi hehehe)...though i passed up on all of my bookings and gave up the slutty tour guide role for beautiful strangers it was still more fun in a way i can ever imagine..to avoid much traffic and getting stranded, i just stayed at the Marco Polo hotel for few hours (got taste of some street dancing, henna tattoos and more)

...then had one of the best view in the street parade (thanks to the hotel's exclusive bleachers)...enjoyed the view for more than 4 hours then decided that it's time for some fab dinner...







...plan is to get home first to take some shower but traffic was a killer that we decided to just go to the Cafe Havana being less glam wearing my ever dependable black Lacoste polo shirt, some acid wash jeans and some fine leather slippers -- and it turned out we're just fairly dressed as anyone else's in the bar :)





...the dinner was a seafood feast, got some octopus, a lil' bit of prawns and of course the must-have calamari for appetizers to go with overflowing tequila shots and i lost count of how many pitchers of mojitos we had...smoked for the first time - not cig's but some peppermint-flavored sheesha/hookah...got some steaks for dinner few hours after...

***blow it or suck it --- either way i'm not complaining :) loveeee it...i'm so lovin' my life right now :)

for the second time - got one of the best view to watch the spectacular fireworks display that lasted for more than 15 minutes (we we're shouting like crazy kids when it started - and ow i forgot to take pictures of it -- was too caught up in the moment).. then finish the night off with coffee from Starbucks (with crazy dancing in between)...

...had an overload of Kylie at the office earlier from start of shift to end, was playing her songs back to back (and did some choreographed dancing when nobody's watching hehehe)...saved some of her best ever live performances from her Showgirl Homecoming tour...can't wait to grab my hands on this disc (though i've already downloaded all of the tracks in mah ipod......(***special thanks to Pat*** - you're indeed the man***) love the "Kids" duet with Bono - it's super hotness, not just the song but the people singing it :)

...got some friends who came over for Sinulog ('side from Jeepers)...work is super spoiler that all i could do is to spend some dinner and leave because of it...another thing is , i had to crash to someone else's place that's near to the office to avoid too much traffic or worst a walkathon since most of the roads near my apartment will be blocked for the procession....thanks goodness a beautiful stranger came to my rescue and offered his place for a day (to Robs: you'll be green with envy if you'll find out who this beautiful stranger is hahaha!)....

..got 4 hours of sleep, then had some lunch with my big bosses then went to the mall to check out some stuff but since it was so crowded, we headed to the cinema instead and watched Eragon where my coffee was stolen (yes...even iced coffee is a steal material nowadays)...went to the john and when i came back my coffee was gone...spoiler eh?...nyway, Eragon is quite OK....a twink eye-candy with a dragon and some swords and some fire...and mind you there's still a sequel...guess that's were Jeremy Irons will have more screen time :)



...last day of work and then i can finally get to parttyyy!!!! something that i haven't done in a long, long time....i need to see waves of beautiful people quick!...Sinulog Camwhorin' coming up...

...but as of the moment i'm stuck here, doing what i do best :)

...i only realized that i was spending too much on coffee when i got another 2007 journal/planner from Starbucks - for the 7th time...it has been one of those stuff that I've been giving away to some close friends for x-mas (yeah i'm such a cheapo hehehe)...mathematically wise, that's a total of 147 cups of coffee = close to almost 21k i could buy another pair of armani shades with that...oh well...gotta slow down with coffee intake moving forward, unless if someone's gonna give it for free hehehe...anyone?

...after almost a month, i broke my hiatus --- of going to the mall that is...there's not too much to miss anyway...was only there to pay for my Globe bill and for my credit card...went to Calvin and bought the new dyed yarn knit boxers -- best thing is it's red...as they say red is the new black for 2007 so it's super coolness (i'm wearing it right now by the way hehehe)...



...was supposed to do hibernation for my off but instead I spent it watching back to back episodes of Mr. Hotness - Wentworth Miller's "Prison Break"...he's got the best eyes ever!!! and he's all the reason you'll ever need to commit a crime and be locked up in jail...i'm almost halfway with season 1 (with lot of spoilers from my housemates)...

...can't contain my excitement...i just can't hehehe...Jeepers (the love of mah life) is coming over for Sinulog...it was suppose to be a surprise but someone spoil it for him hehehe...can't wait for Friday...oww i forgot, I got work till Sunday (major spoiler I know)...but if there's a will, there's always a way :)

...just got a full spread of what seems to be a luxury-overload of beautiful things from the one and only Greta Barretto in the latest issue of Yes! Magazine...she deserved to be hailed as most beautiful and I love everything about her..(don't really care what other people think - i love her for being just herself)...and all those stuff she wears...stuffs that i may never get to wear or to try-on in this lifetime...oh well...precious illusions and something more...

...i've already started watching Desperate Housewive's 3rd season...i know i'm already bit behind so no spoilers as much as possible please...my DSL service is still fucked up that loading one episode will take me about 2-3 hours and worst part by the way, I still can't access Youtube for no apparent reason (i've already tried multiple browsers - IE,AOL explorer and Firefox but to no avail)...this is getting so much depressing (i don't want to resort to watching these episodes in the office, for sure i'll be slacking full time)...i can't get over watching this promo teaser "Dirty Laundry"from the 3rd season over and over again...

..another thing, my latest ICON issue cover was murdered by my housemates, total boredom hit the two biatch that they ended up having good use of my glitter glues by putting them on the cover of the magazine...i wanted to be furious but what's done is done....gotta leave it at that...petty stuff like that is the last thing on my mind right now...

...woke up to a cold monday morning...so cold i decided to extend my hibernation...felt like not waking up at all but then again i'm starting to starve like crazy...no real food left in mah apartment - cold cuts and canned stuff that by just looking at 'em makes me wanna throw up...

...called up Mcdonald's to order some food but said they don't deliver because it's raining hard (like what are deliveries made for anyway?)...good thing there was KFC...had some chicken, some mac salad and some coleslaw...gawd!!! i'm overeating again...in fairness to me, guess that will be mah meal for the whole day...

...few hours after, i felt the need for some caffeeine in my system, wanted to go to Starbucks but rain was pourin' like there's no tomorrow...good thing someone came to mah rescue...dropped off a grand triple shot mocha with raspberry syrup, non-fat/no whip and extra hot...yey!

new year with a new PC and a fuckin' dead DSL service from Globe

...i haven't really posted anything new in this site for the longest time (new pics from the x-mas and new year parties) all because Globe's DSL service is totally dead...loading up a single picture takes hours to complete (hope this one gets through - i'll keep my fingers crossed)...that big quake from Taiwan is the one to blame for this lousy service - question is for how long???? the service that i got right now is way slower than my old school dial-up before...i wanna call them and rant to the top of my lungs hoping to get a free month of service (on second thought, that's lame and i may end up to be one of those lousy customers fishing for service credits and that's just pathetic)...


...i was so excited to load up some pics from new year but the HELL NO!!! our house PC was reformatted without me knowing it...what the f$%#!!!!...all my audio files, pictures and my most precious-hard-to-find porno stuffs were all gone...this is just so depressing that it makes me wanna lash out and kill whoever reformatted the PC...technically i didn't have a new PC but i got a clean one to start with for the new year...barren...empty...ready to filled up for something juicy in the coming days...good thing i got some archived photos here in this site or else it will all be just in my memory...

...screw Globe...screw my daddy (who made the reformat)...


...it's my year by the way...Year of the Pig...and i'm a water Pig....materialistic, caring, hates generic stuffs - some of the things that i read from a zodiac article couple of days ago...hope 2007's a good one for me...


...haven't made my resolutions complete yet...maybe by the end of the month it will be ready so i still have an excuse to do all the stupid stuff i'm doing now...
