...i got my bags packed already and im ready to take the first morning flight back to Cebu by tomorrow...it was nice to see old faces, to reminisce about most probably the most enjoyable phase in my life - high school...all the crazy antics, the bloopers, the trip to the principal's office, the petty quarrels, the competition and everything that came in between..it was worth staying until 5am earlier even with my leg hurting like hell :(

...i stepped on a weak concrete last night that i slid my foot all the way to the hole it made (now that's my wake up call for gaining much weight ehehehe)....ouch! super...i didn't feel much pain at first because i was too drunk to notice the blood coming from the long scratch in my leg...and then the morning came when everything was just painful that i had a pain reliever pill for breakfast

...i no longer belong here...after spending almost 10 days at home, i think i'm better off living somewhere else...i find it almost a torture to count the hours till the day ends...i've surfed almost any website imaginable because of boredom...but no matter how bored i was , i'm proud to say that i've kept myself from checking work related emails...i'll deal with it once i get back to the office...i know i'll be doing major work catching up...10 days of not being in the office equals to more than 500 emails...goodluck

...the more time i spent here, the more i get to know myself better and what i want for me to have by next year...i now know where i got my temper and being very impatient --- from my mom...although i love her much, there are just some things i see myself in her that i wanted to change right away...

...it's been a quite good year for me..i've been lucky with my work (i got the promotion i think i rightfully deserved), i was able to buy some material things that i've always wanted (Tonio's on top of the list), i was able to reunite with my old friends through Rihanna and Chris Brown's concert (although spending it in Bangkok was always a better option)...and then some...i think the only sad thing that happened was the end of my lovelife, but it was a choice i made so i have to stand up for it

...i already have a game plan set for the new year...no resolutions or any of that stuff, i only need to make things happen....let's all welcome 2009 with a bang and hopefully you all get to have what you want for next year

...it became a habit for me lately to read a book and tend to not finish it and start reading a different one (it's like i'm on a reading binge and the only good thing is i'm not gaining any extra calories)...

...i bought J.K. Rowling's "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" yesterday (it was available wayyy earlier than what i've expected - maybe they're rushing to publish the book to make it a must-have gift for kids this season)...the book is made up of 5 stories which you can finish in less than an hour (unless if you pay much attention to footnotes and commentaries by Dumbledore and try linking it to the Harry Potter series)...



...as short as it may seem, at least my attention was diverted from "Wicked" - i still haven't got much patience following Old English lines....2 more chapters to go and i'm done and i can now start with Atonement by Ian Mcewan (did i mention, i went ahead and read the first 3 chapters already? hehehe)

...my plans are screwed and i need a new game plan...i need all the diversion in the world right now to stop over-thinking about stuff..my schedule is screwed (to the highest level)...oh well, life's a bitch and then you die...

...i got new challenges work-wise and i think that it is a very very good thing....it's something that would take me out of my comfort zone and would push me to the limits...i need to know how fast can i learn new stuff and how to be good at 'em...i need to know what my tolerance is to criticism and bad feedback if i screw things up (i mostly live by praises from other people which gives me the drive to be always better - almost perfect)...if committing mistakes be the fastest way for me to learn then so be it...i'm up for the game...

...but as of now, i'm gonna spend as much time with myself...chill more...and relax for a while because by next week, it's going to be one hell of a ride :)

...i lost my usual sleep pattern (blame it on my erratic schedule that changes almost everyday - i still have to endure it for 2 more weeks and i'll be on a steady case)...woke up earlier with an aching head and a stubborn pimple in my lower lip (now i need to look for my Murad for a fix)

...i finally watched Twilight last Sunday (i've chosen the last full show expecting it wouldn't be too crowded but to my dismay it was full-packed)...it's good that i have set a standard for myself in perceiving the movie coz i didn't end up disappointed (which i know others were)...but one thing's for sure, Edward being an eye-candy is enough reason for me to watch the movie all over again...

...i need to start buying stuff for x-mas gifts...i'll be taking a long leave from work (better than what i originally bargained for)...i'm exited to go home

...i took quite few days break from blogging after i got back from Manila (having Jude B seated next to me on the flight back to Cebu was super fun)...was tied up with work right after Rihanna/CB's concert that i got late uploading pics and vids for friends until they got tired of bugging me about it...hehheh (sorry bbs')

...i've been obsessing lately with Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" series that it is now part of my daily habit...i need to make sure to cover at least 4-5 chapters each day before going to bed (which happens in the morning by the way) and sometimes 2-3 chapters after waking up...a way of procrastinating before preparing for work...



...i went to Powerbooks last Sunday and decided to buy the 2 other books instead of waiting for my bestfriend to send in her copies...besides it's something that i might need re-reading soon...reading about Vampires was once an obsession, i went through multiple search engines looking for anything related to the subject and once came a time that all i can talk about is Ann Rice's "Vampire Chronicles" hehehe...

and now comes this..



...i have 4 chapters left before i get to finish Twilight (most likely i'll have it done after tonight's shift) then i can get to start reading "New Moon"

...i was back to working on a Saturday night (something i haven't done for more than a year now) though it's gonna be only for this week...what's disappointing was it turned out i was the only TL who's scheduled for the entire shift...

...as expected, i did the one man/woman show hehehe...it felt refreshing though doing soemthing you haven't done for a long time...i was manning a whole shift, calling out the shots on who's going in, who's out , when they can take breaks or not...it's like handling a fragile Lego toy with you being so careful for it not to fall apart

...much like on real life, it's all about the perfect timing...knowing when to call the right shots, knowing when to let go and knowing when to give up

...oh well, at least i get to attend a friend's birthday party later...carbo overload and then some :)

starting twilight

...i haven't been blogging much lately (well at least not like the way i used before)...blame it on having to work full time again and getting lesser slack time for this kind of stuff...i can't even do blogging at home because our DSL's disconnected (someone didn't bother to pay the bill for the last 5 months...amazing....and that wasn't me if you ask)

...while waiting to have it reconnected and get myself back to my old blogging momentum, i'm back to my 2nd love next to music which is reading...i used to kill time flipping pages of Ann Rice's "Vampire Chronicles" or that Dan Brown series which was way hyped before

...i recently finished Jenna Bush's work entitled "Ana's Story" - a story about a girl born with HIV and how she coped with it through childhood till she got one of her own child...story's really pure and simple in a way that you can relate to it at some point (since this is third world anyway) and the story seems too familiar that what's in it can be found whenever you watch one of those current soap operas' on TV - Pinoy drama is too theatrical sometimes



...since i got an extra time off from work, i went to Powerbooks earlier and bought Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight"...i know i'm a bit late and i need a lot of cathing up (with Eclipse and New Moon that is to complete the series) at least i can get to finish it before the movie gets released later this year...



...it's like remembering my Ann Rice moments all over again :)

it was love at first sight

...my favorite couple in the whole wide world (second to my own of course hehehe) is in town to celebrate their anniversary...and i feel like i'm in love all over again hehehe

...and speaking of falling in love, i found the perfect portable that i'm gonna be buying - the Dell XPS M1330...it was love at first sight...aside from the amazing specs, it has a sleek silver and crimson red finish, what more can i ask for?



...i'm reading through reviews from forums and in Cnet and checking the specs, after all i worked with Dell for more than a year, i should know it by heart hehehe

...i need 80 grand, i'll try to buy it on my own and give myself 2 months, if all else fails then mom's always one call away for helpline hehehe...

nosebleed

...i was having a nosebleed earlier when i was on the way to the office..literally! worst thing is i didn't have any tissue to wipe the blood off my hands...bit morbid...and i was wearing my white jacket to make the situation more difficult



...the nosebleed moment continued till lunchtime, i was given excess tissue while having lunch at Shakeys...weird thing is i couldn't find any reason why i was having a nosebleed...maybe i'm starting to see the after effects of staying too long in a call center environment hehehe

i'd like to play with fire

...i always tend to get sociophobic in an instant if it gets too crowded and this is something that i've been trying to change for the longest time coz for sure others perceive it me being a big snobbish pig hehehe...im a work in progress when it comes to my people skills - working still

...spent my Sunday at the beach but i was not there to have a vacay or to chill, it was for a company event, something that happens annually, something that i have already get used to...we were asked to wear purple but for some reasons (which is totally out of my control and will), we ended wearing black - yes BLACK - in the beach!

***good thing i snatched this gorgeous hat for some shade





...then they had me joined one game (which is way too physical for my level)...i don't know what it's called but mechanics were easy...it's where you tie a balloon in your feet and someone will try to pop it and vise versa...it feels like someone popping my cherry minus the orgasmic effect hehehe



...the one thing i genuinely enjoyed the whole night was the firedancing from these two guys...it's nice to play with fire indeed **wink**





...did an "eat-and-run" moment before it hits 8PM...it was literally hot ( i was still wearing the black shirt) and i badly needed a shower
